Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and develop high-traffic user interfaces for enterprise e-commerce platforms utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, and Nuxt 3.

• Implement significant frontend features to enhance user experience and boost conversion rates.

• Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, QA engineers, and designers.

• Deliver contemporary design systems and functionalities.

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to make architectural decisions.

• Assess and evaluate new web technologies.

• Maintain high code quality through code reviews and automated testing.

• Actively participate in team retrospectives.

• Further develop shop features and designs within an agile Scrum framework, primarily using Nuxt 3 and Tailwind CSS.

• Ensure consistent quality assurance and precise design implementation using Vitest and Playwright.

• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and idea exchange within the internal tech community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.

• Strong proficiency in frontend development.

• Practical experience with TypeScript, Vue 3, Nuxt 3, or Node.js.

• Alternatively, strong skills in ReactJS with a readiness to transition to Vue.

• Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Practical experience with Tailwind CSS.

• Background in B2C e-commerce or experience in a fast-paced boutique agency environment.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.

• Initial experience with Vue Storefront or SCAYLE is a bonus.

• Familiarity with Redis is a bonus.

• A passion for web accessibility is an additional advantage.
