Senior Frontend Engineer – Acquisition

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain frontend applications that serve as the cornerstone of Alpaca's user experience.

• Create engaging user experiences and products tailored for Trading API clients, which include frontend trading dashboards and backend systems.

• Provide comprehensive solutions encompassing both frontend and backend systems for Trading API functionalities.

• Architect and build web and mobile applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop responsive, efficient, and user-friendly interfaces.

• Take ownership of high-profile features and projects from initial design through to deployment.

• Mentor colleagues and contribute to shaping the company's technical direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in frontend development using TypeScript/React.

• More than 3 years of experience in mobile application development for both Android and iOS platforms.

• At least 2 years of experience with a modern systems programming language such as Golang, C++, or Rust.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Capable of transforming product mockups and designs into fully functional user interfaces.

• Proficient in HTML and CSS frameworks, including TailwindCSS.

• Familiar with best practices for REST APIs and WebSockets.

• Experience with relational databases and SQL.

• Proven track record in establishing or influencing frontend best practices.

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design aesthetics.
