Senior Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and develop headless frontend applications for B2B e-commerce and digital platforms.

• Build modern, scalable, and reusable user interfaces utilizing React.

• Ensure compliance with the Design System, maintain visual consistency, and provide an exceptional user experience.

• Set up and oversee automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Engage in defining and advancing the frontend architecture, including micro frontends and code reuse strategies.

• Implement observability measures for performance, error tracking, and user experience evaluation.

• Collaborate with UX/UI Designers, Architecture teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders within a Scrum/Kanban framework.

• Take part in code reviews, pair programming, and initiatives focused on continuous improvement.

• Contribute to technical documentation in both Portuguese and English and promote knowledge sharing.

• Continuously enhance performance, accessibility, SEO, and usability.

• Redesign the frontend layer of a global cloud-based B2B e-commerce platform and associated domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in frontend development for complex web applications.

• Extensive experience with React and its ecosystem.

• Demonstrated experience in headless projects.

• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Familiarity with Micro Frontends architecture, componentization, Design Systems, and Single Page Applications.

• Experience working on large-scale, business-critical enterprise applications.

• Proficient in consuming REST APIs.

• Understanding of pagination, authentication, error handling, and API versioning.

• Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and enterprise identity providers.

• Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or similar testing tools.

• Experience conducting unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.

• Proficient in using Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms).

• Knowledge of Docker.

• Experience with monitoring and observability practices.

• Understanding of UX best practices in relation to e-commerce.

• Experience with responsive design, Mobile First principles, accessibility (WCAG), and web performance optimization.

• Experience working on global projects that involve multiple languages, localization, and regional formatting.

• Senior-level expertise with the capability to act as a frontend technical reference.

• Ability to support architectural decision-making processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Advanced proficiency in English for reading and composing technical documentation and participating in international meetings.
