Senior Frontend Developer – All Genders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee Contabo’s new product offerings.

• Make decisions regarding design, coding, and infrastructure in alignment with product strategy and market timing.

• Engage in on-call duties as required.

• Collaborate with the team to enhance system redundancy and proactively ensure uptime.

• Create user-facing interfaces for Contabo’s platform, focusing on GUI as well as cloud-native open-source tools like Terraform and CLIs.

• Engage in open development with a visible presence.

• Build upon APIs and work closely with UX designers.

• Develop the new product from inception to launch.

• Standardize API implementations.

• Contribute to product design by integrating with design frameworks.

• Address issues promptly and share insights with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive production experience with TypeScript 5.9, utilizing the type system to minimize bugs.

• Familiarity with Svelte 5, including client-side routing using svelte5-router, or strong TypeScript experience with a similar modern reactive framework.

• Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Comfortable working with dynamic APIs.

• Experience with Docker, Webpack 5, and PostCSS.

• Familiarity with Svelte Material UI (SMUI) or a similar component library.

• Experience in end-to-end testing using Playwright and/or Cypress.

• Knowledge of Keycloak.js or a comparable SSO/OAuth implementation.

• Proficient in English; German language skills are advantageous.

• A strong sense of commitment and enthusiasm.
