Senior Front End Engineer – Web

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and development of front-end architectures that enhance user engagement and establish new benchmarks in the industry.

• Lead technical decisions and uphold best practices regarding desktop application architecture, performance, and reliability.

• Mentor and assist junior engineers, promoting a culture of excellence and ongoing improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and execute effective testing strategies.

• Champion and apply industry best practices in front-end development.

• Partner with backend engineers to create integration and performance testing solutions.

• Regularly evaluate and refine front-end processes utilizing data-driven insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated experience in front-end development, with a strong emphasis on testing and automation.

• Proficiency in building desktop applications using Tauri, Electron, or analogous frameworks.

• Solid grasp of desktop application concepts and OS-specific behaviors, especially for macOS and Windows.

• Extensive experience with automated testing for JavaScript/TypeScript/Desktop Native applications, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Familiarity with Rust, CI/CD, application packaging, or desktop application distribution is advantageous.

• Knowledge of modern web technologies and frameworks, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, or similar, is a plus.

• Leadership experience with a small team will be considered a significant advantage.

• Good understanding of front-end production infrastructure; experience with Docker or Cloud Services is beneficial.

• Proficient in agile methodologies and clean coding practices.

• A curious mindset to understand the internal workings of systems and a desire to continually challenge the existing tech stack.

• A strong sense of user interface and user experience design.
