Senior Front End Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop applications using Angular versions 13–18+

• Design and assess software throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Define and evaluate requirements

• Investigate software and system issues and conduct root-cause analysis

• Engage in comprehensive system rewrites for logistics-related initiatives

• Execute software design, analysis, new development, coding, and unit testing

• Collaborate with the project manager, QA, user groups, and other organizational team members

• Serve as a front-end software engineer on projects for Laufer Group International

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–6 years of relevant experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience or qualification

• Over 5 years of engineering experience specifically with Angular, especially versions 13–18+

• In-depth knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and RxJS

• Strong expertise in REST APIs and security practices

• Proficient in creating responsive, cross-browser-compatible HTML5/SCSS templates

• Familiarity with SCM tools such as Git and JIRA

• Previous hands-on experience with NG Bootstrap and Ag-Grid

• Experience working with an IDE such as Eclipse or IBM Liberty

• Knowledgeable in Spring Framework, Core Java, JSP, and JSTL

• Understanding of SQL, SOA, DB2, and JDBC

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment

• Excellent communication, active listening, and system requirement comprehension abilities

• Proven capacity for gaining knowledge and skills quickly
