Senior FP&A Manager – Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial planning and enhance Business Intelligence capabilities.

• Develop, maintain, and expand integrated financial plans that encompass the P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet.

• Perform regular comparisons of budget versus actuals and conduct variance analyses.

• Establish and manage the Business Intelligence landscape.

• Prepare financial and operational metrics for the executive management team.

• Collaborate with teams in Marketing, E-Commerce, and Supply Chain Management.

• Evaluate marketing KPIs such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).

• Assess supply chain metrics including inventory coverage, logistics expenses, and contribution margins.

• Enhance margins and processes through data analysis.

• Automate data flows and reporting utilizing Oracle NetSuite, Google Sheets, and relational databases.

• Report to the FP&A / Controlling Team Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Business Intelligence within an e-commerce, D2C, or retail scale-up environment.

• Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational databases.

• Expert-level skills in Google Sheets and familiarity with contemporary BI tools.

• Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is advantageous.

• Strong grasp of e-commerce KPIs, marketing efficiency, and working capital management.

• Experience in AI automation and agentic workflows within Finance.

• Excellent analytical thinking abilities.

• Hands-on approach to working with raw data.

• Capable of effectively communicating complex financial outcomes.

• Proficient in both German and English, with business-level fluency.
