This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.
• Take responsibility for forecasting, reporting, and deriving insights for a portfolio of clinics.
• Act as the main point of contact for inquiries related to clinic forecasting and financial performance.
• Create and maintain projections at the clinic level and manage monthly variance reports.
• Recognize utilization, revenue, cost drivers, trends, anomalies, and risks.
• Generate and oversee recurring payment calculations for practice owners and manage payment runs.
• Reconcile owner payments with clinic profit and loss statements, revenue, and collections data; address discrepancies.
• Document and standardize payment methodologies to facilitate clinic onboarding at scale.
• Analyze gross margin and cost of goods sold (COGS) at both clinic and service line levels.
• Measure the margin impact of proposed changes and track actual improvements.
• Collaborate with Practice Success Managers and practice owners to enhance clinic results.
• Provide guidance to independent practice owners and clarify financial concepts in simple terms.
• Develop and implement improvement plans from problem identification through to measurable outcomes.
• Utilize AI coding agents to construct financial models, reports, and automations.
• Engage with GitHub to manage branches, pull requests, merges, and deployments.
• Streamline reporting and forecasting processes through automation.
• Regularly use AI-assisted tools for analysis, modeling, and automation tasks.
• Document, evaluate, and enhance profit and loss processes as the business evolves.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role.
• Proficient in advanced Excel / Google Sheets financial modeling techniques.
• Strong understanding of the three financial statements and their interconnections.
• Basic familiarity with AI agents, GitHub, Python, and fundamental software development principles.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• High degree of agency and the capability to work independently.
• Persistent follow-through and complete ownership of deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Skill in conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Comfort with the uncertainties of a startup environment and rapid changes.
• Experience with multi-site/multi-unit profit and loss management is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare, ABA/behavioral health, or MSO/DSO settings is advantageous.
• Experience with franchise or partner/owner interactions is a plus.
• Background in business cases and margin/COGS improvement is beneficial.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management is a plus.
