Senior FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold intricate rolling forecasts

• Oversee the comprehensive bottom-up budgeting process annually

• Develop what-if models and advanced scenarios to address market volatility, product introductions, and potential merger and acquisition activities

• Implement variance reporting by assessing monthly actual figures against budget and forecast

• Set up and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), Churn Rate, and EBITDA margins

• Partner with department leadership to pinpoint cost optimization possibilities

• Utilize AI-driven techniques for predictive trend analysis

• Enhance recurring reporting workflows through advanced Excel automation

• Design and oversee dynamic dashboards

• Act as the ERP steward by executing complex SQL queries throughout enterprise systems

• Collaborate with accounting to evaluate expenses and monthly accrual estimates

• Maintain and refresh the monthly closing calendar along with prepaid/accrual schedules

• Work alongside business partners to capture last-minute cost and revenue items before the hard close

• Monitor and report on accrual-to-actual adjustments and fine-tune estimates

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is mandatory

• An MBA or professional certification (CFA/CPA) is strongly preferred

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive, hands-on experience in a corporate FP&A setting

• Expert proficiency in Excel, including VBA and Power Query

• A demonstrated history of employing financial modeling best practices

• Strong expertise in modern data stacks for predictive financial data science

• Exceptional ability to convey data stories effectively for executive-level stakeholders

• Capability for strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams
