Senior FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +24 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct analyses and develop reports to support the annual budgeting process.

• Contribute to the financial and operational closing and reporting procedures.

• Assist in financial forecasting and update the long-term financial forecast model.

• Collaborate with teams to confirm modeling assumptions.

• Facilitate the annual budgeting process by maintaining budget templates and scenarios.

• Manage headcount and contractor cost forecasting, including detailed roster information, burden rates, role-by-role phasing, and plan reconciliation.

• Generate, consolidate, and distribute monthly reports alongside critical metrics.

• Support the monthly financial closing and annual financial audit procedures.

• Prepare year-to-date and full-year reporting packages for auditors, lenders, and sponsors.

• Conduct budget-versus-actual variance reporting and assist in presentations to functional leaders.

• Provide analytical support to designated teams and foster cross-business relationships.

• Create executive, board, partner, and client presentations with P&L commentary, revenue bridges, and KPI pages.

• Offer decision support utilizing ROI, NPV, and benchmarking for partnerships, contracts, and M&A activities.

• Analyze vendor, cloud, and other major expenditure categories to identify cost-efficiency opportunities.

• Research, select, implement, and refine FP&A processes and systems.

• Maintain scenarios, data fetches, and mappings in Cube and NetSuite.

• Leverage AI for repetitive tasks such as variance commentary, reconciliation checks, deck production, and document summaries, applying human judgment for final tie-outs.

• Investigate markets, customers, and products to enhance financial support.

• Conduct ad hoc research, analysis, and reporting.

• Candidates must reside in AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA, or WI.

• A minimum of 4 years of finance experience, ideally in a rapidly growing technology company or consulting firm.

• Previous experience with a private-equity backed firm, including sponsor and lender reporting cadence.

• Demonstrated history of achievement and delivering significant results.

• Strong financial analysis and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to distill complex issues into simple, structured frameworks and communicate them effectively.

• Experience collaborating with leaders across sales, marketing, R&D, operations, and other departments.

• Excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities.

• Familiarity with ERP, FP&A, Analytics, CRM, or other finance-function systems.

• Aptitude for collaboration across teams and with universities and corporate clients.

• Previous experience with NetSuite, Cube, and Tableau is advantageous.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools in finance or analytical workflows is a plus.
