Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with key customers to transform raw security data into strategic executive insights.

• Work onsite with clients to outline security, risk, and compliance workflows.

• Collect requirements from both practitioners and executives.

• Seamlessly integrate SecurityScorecard into clients' established data, logic, and processes.

• Develop AI-driven solutions utilizing LLMs, ML models, and contemporary AI tools.

• Conduct data analysis and data science on both customer and platform data.

• Convert security ratings into financial metrics such as ALE, VaR, and ROI.

• Design and implement integrations, pipelines, and tools that connect to SIEM, GRC, ticketing, and data warehouse systems.

• Architect and deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.

• Rapidly prototype and refine solutions into reliable, supportable production software.

• Serve as a liaison between Product, Engineering, and customers, incorporating field patterns into the development roadmap.

• Manage technical relationships with key accounts throughout the renewal and expansion phases.

• Travel to client locations for workshops, technical deep dives, and go-live support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of software engineering experience, particularly in customer-facing, forward-deployed, or solutions engineering roles.

• Practical experience in building AI solutions, utilizing LLMs, agentic frameworks, or ML models as foundational elements in delivered products.

• Proven track record in developing AI-enhanced products or features.

• Proficient in data analysis and data science, including risk quantification, benchmarking, and exposure modeling.

• Capacity to independently deliver production code in dynamic, ambiguous, customer-facing settings.

• Comprehensive full stack proficiency, including backend services, APIs, scripting, data pipelines, and integration techniques such as REST, webhooks, SSO/SAML, and SIEM connectors.

• Experience in architectural design across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Familiarity with conducting discovery sessions with enterprise stakeholders and defining technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills.

• Proactive mindset and ability to thrive in uncertain environments.

• Previous experience in cybersecurity, GRC, or risk management is highly advantageous.

• Willingness to travel to client sites, generally between 20% to 40% of the time.
