Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with clients to grasp technical specifications and operational hurdles.

• Construct, implement, and tailor production solutions within customer settings.

• Create integrations, automation, APIs, and internal tools.

• Convert customer insights into concrete product and engineering objectives.

• Diagnose intricate technical issues spanning application and infrastructure layers.

• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to enhance platform functionalities.

• Manage projects from the technical discovery phase through to deployment and iteration.

• Design reusable solutions that can be scaled across numerous clients.

• Enhance deployment workflows, documentation, observability, and reliability.

• Serve as a technical advisor and reliable engineering partner to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, TypeScript, Go, or equivalent languages.

• Experience in building and deploying production software.

• Strong capabilities in systems, API, integration, and debugging.

• Experience engaging directly with clients or cross-functional teams.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.

• Excellent communication and technical problem-solving abilities.

• High level of ownership and the capability to independently drive projects.

• Familiarity with AI/ML systems or infrastructure is a plus.

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure is a plus.

• Background in a startup or scale-up environment is a plus.

• Experience deploying software in complex enterprise settings is a plus.

• Knowledge of LLMs, model serving, or AI agents is a plus.

• Experience in developing developer tools or automation is a plus.

• Fluent English is required.

• Must provide proof of work authorization status in the United States.
