Senior Forensic Engineer, Electrical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead projects and act as the main point of contact.

• Organize site visits, resources, and timelines to ensure projects remain on schedule.

• Conduct site visits and testing to collect data across various property types.

• Execute site visits and lab examinations to gather information on residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

• Generate reports that integrate inspection, testing, and analysis data to determine root causes and provide recommendations for repair or replacement.

• Facilitate regional growth through recruitment and business development initiatives.

• Establish and maintain robust client relationships while generating new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with business development on conferences and client outreach efforts.

• Review and interpret relevant building codes related to the scope of work.

• Supervise the development of repair or replacement design scope as necessary.

• Make independent decisions regarding projects, including the selection of analysis and testing methods and resource allocation.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 10 years of forensic electrical engineering experience or pertinent design experience.

• Demonstrated ability to produce thorough technical reports based on inspection findings.

• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
