β’ Take ownership of the mixed-signal board schematic along with system-level electrical design throughout various product generations, from block diagram to prototype, validation, and production builds.
β’ Facilitate schematic and cross-functional design reviews in collaboration with the contract manufacturer, while managing the DFM, DFT, and component-lifecycle feedback loop.
β’ Conduct hardware bring-up and debugging across the hardware/software interface, characterizing both analog and audio performance on the bench as well as with the actual drive-thru hardware.
β’ Ensure compatibility validation across the full range of drive-thru base stations and lane hardware that the product integrates with, verifying that the device integrates seamlessly into a live lane and operates flawlessly with existing equipment.
β’ Work closely with embedded software, product management, and operations teams to translate the real-world constraints of drive-thru lanes and legacy hardware into effective electrical solutions.
β’ A minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical design, demonstrating a successful history of guiding mixed-signal boards from schematic to volume production, prototyping, or early-stage hardware development.
β’ A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
β’ Proven expertise in designing and debugging mixed-signal boards that integrate sensitive analog pathways with digital computation and higher-power output stages on shared copper.
β’ Strong proficiency in analog audio front-end design and digital audio interfaces.
β’ Ability to create and analyze schematics, direct PCB layout, and execute hardware bring-up and debugging both at the bench and in the field.
β’ Experience in collaboration across various engineering disciplines and with external stakeholders, including contract manufacturers and component suppliers.
β’ Bonus: familiarity with commercial-AV audio systems, acoustic echo cancellation hardware, regulatory certification for DC-powered commercial products, or RF and antenna integration.
β’ Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
β’ Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
β’ Collaborative and innovative work environment.
β’ Flexible work hours and potential remote work options.
