Senior Electrical Engineer – Federal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the coordination of design activities and manage project submission timelines

• Carry out additional QA/QC responsibilities to ensure that final products align with client technical specifications and objectives

• Execute independent planning and design tasks

• Evaluate the work of colleagues and create construction documents

• Successfully deliver projects to completion

• Foster collaborative relationships across various departments and functions

• Implement applicable codes and standards in project design

• Conduct final QA/QC assessments of project submissions

• Generate schedules, technical proposals, and labor-hour estimates

• Articulate and deliver the scope of work alongside project teams

• Assist in quality assurance and quality control processes to enhance deliverables and minimize design errors and omissions

• Perform and validate design calculations and technical specifications

• Prepare cost estimates

• Develop and manage design budgets for complex projects

• Offer guidance, training, and support to engineering associates and interns

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant Engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution

• At least twelve (12) years of job-related experience

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation/InRoads, and/or Hydrologic and Hydraulic Software Packages is preferred

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a project team

• Proven track record of leading and influencing multidisciplinary teams

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

• Eligibility to reside and work in the United States
