Senior Food Regulatory Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver a high standard of professional services to key retail clients.

• Ensure products meet safety and legal requirements through consultancy on technical and legal compliance.

• Analyze product specifications thoroughly.

• Create packaging text and approve artwork.

• Provide guidance on food labeling laws, technical standards, and advertising regulations.

• Act as the subject matter expert for complex regulatory categories and inquiries.

• Prepare and review product specifications, packaging text, and final artwork according to client specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science or a related field.

• At least 7 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs or a comparable role within the food industry.

• Comprehensive knowledge of UK and EU food legislation and regulatory standards.

• Experience in the Food Supplement Industry.

• Proven track record in preparing and approving legally compliant packaging text and artwork.

• Familiarity with completing specifications for online retailers.

• Outstanding communication, organizational, and time-management skills, with the capability to meet tight deadlines.

• Proficient IT skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office.
