Senior Floor Plan Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Perform on-site physical inspections of floor-planned collateral at dealerships.

• Reconcile field audits assigned to you.

• Collaborate with dealership staff to ensure audits are completed in accordance with Huntington’s procedures.

• Review dealership inventory, sales documents, and records to identify unaccounted inventory.

• Promptly escalate any audit discrepancies to Huntington management.

• Carry out on-site audits utilizing a comprehensive understanding of audit protocols.

• Conduct or oversee challenging audits that involve multiple auditors and takeover audits for new clients.

• Physically inspect inventory while compiling and verifying floor plan data and titles.

• Communicate final audit findings, including noncompliance issues and problematic situations, to management.

• Identify and relay dealer news or concerns to portfolio/credit management.

• Organize travel arrangements, submit expense reports, and keep track of time.

• Collaborate with the internal audit team on larger and more complex evaluations.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least three (3) years of experience in Auto Finance or Audit.

• Proficient with tablet-based auditing software and equipment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Familiarity with auto dealer operations.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Significant travel, including overnight stays, is necessary.

• Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.

• Capacity to work independently and efficiently.
