
Senior Financial Analyst – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and uphold intricate financial models, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with business leaders to create annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial strategies for designated P&L categories.
• Assist in the monthly and quarterly closing process by preparing advanced analyses and reviewing the work completed by junior analysts.
• Maintain and evaluate financial metrics, KPIs, and ratios to gauge business performance, labor efficiency, capital investments, and profitability.
• Execute ad hoc financial modeling and analysis for strategic projects and leadership decision-making.
• Act as a reliable finance partner to leaders across Finance, Product, Sales, Human Resources, Marketing, and/or Operations.
• Facilitate earnings guidance and external reporting through forecast preparation and analytical support.
• Prepare and sustain budgets and forecasts for the balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
• Deliver financial insights, pricing suggestions, and strategic analyses to senior leadership and executives.
• Manage designated financial approval or governance processes.
• Assist with the earnings release procedure, including preparing financial statement forecasts.
• Conduct complex financial analyses for monthly and quarterly closings, including reviewing work performed by Financial Analysts I and II.
• Carry out additional ad hoc analyses and financial modeling as requested by the manager.
• Over 5 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Experience in a public company environment is advantageous.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to distill complex analyses into insights suitable for executives.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
• Capability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence others without direct authority.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; other quantitative-focused majors may be considered.
• CPA or other professional designations are highly preferred.
• Experience with Big 4 public accounting is preferred.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods, typically 7–8 hours per day.
• Proficiency in using a computer, phone systems, and multiple software applications concurrently.
