Senior Financial Analyst – CFO Office

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Enhance group-wide reporting processes.

• Assist in the ongoing financial and business planning for both companies and investors.

• Evaluate business models, financial performance, and key metrics.

• Recognize essential value drivers and formulate actionable recommendations.

• Collaborate closely with the managing directors of the operating companies.

• Act as a financial and business sparring partner to support critical decisions.

• Ensure transparency in financial and operational performance.

• Continuously refine relevant management KPIs.

• Assess profitability, cash flow, working capital, and other business drivers.

• Spot opportunities and risks while emphasizing potential value creation.

• Question accounting and controlling processes, implementing opportunities for improvement.

• Leverage modern tools and AI-powered methods to facilitate more efficient analyses, reporting, and planning processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.

• Preferably, experience as an Associate in Transaction Advisory or Financial Due Diligence, or with a private equity or venture capital investor.

• Capacity to quickly grasp complex financial data and business models.

• Experience in analyzing business relationships and pinpointing key value drivers.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Ability to present findings clearly and appropriately for the audience.

• Strong analytical thinking capabilities.

• Solid understanding of business and financial interrelationships.

• Capability to focus on both details and the overall picture.

• High level of initiative, a solution-oriented mindset, and a sense of responsibility.

• Confident use of digital tools.

• Interest in automation and AI applications.

• Strong communication skills paired with a practical approach.

• A robust hands-on mentality.

• Ability to clearly articulate complex topics while maintaining an overview in a dynamic environment.
