Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main finance partner for designated growth verticals

• Assist in strategic planning, investment assessments, and overall business performance

• Take ownership of revenue and operating expense forecasts while enhancing forecast precision

• Create, sustain, and refine financial models for scenario planning, pricing evaluations, investment strategies, and new business ventures

• Compile monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, variance analyses, executive summaries, and actionable recommendations

• Track essential business and financial performance metrics

• Recognize emerging risks, opportunities, operational enhancements, and resource allocation prospects

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, and other departments on strategic projects

• Convey complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences

• Enhance forecasting methods, reporting practices, and analytical tools

• Report directly to the Staff, Finance

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline

• 4–6 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or other analytical finance roles

• Advanced experience in financial modeling and forecasting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting processes

• Capacity to influence business decisions through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets

• Familiarity with financial reporting systems and business intelligence tools

• Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

• Keen attention to detail

• Preferred experience in supporting high-growth technology or fintech organizations

• Preferred experience collaborating with Product, Marketing, or Growth teams

• Preferred experience with SQL, Looker, Tableau, or other business intelligence and data visualization tools

• Preferred experience with Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or similar FP&A platforms

• Preferred experience in enhancing financial planning processes through automation or process optimization

• Must reside in the United States

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
