Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Prepare and evaluate financial reports for consolidated emergency/urgent care operations in collaboration with hospital partner finance teams and Intuitive Health finance personnel.

• Review the financial data and associated metrics from hospital partners to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Analyze financial performance, business drivers, trends, variances, risks, and opportunities to aid in management decision-making.

• Create monthly reporting packages and assist in monthly and quarterly financial reviews for private equity partners, hospital partners, and Intuitive Health leadership.

• Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting, including analyzing actual results compared to budget and forecast.

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, operational analyses, and key performance reports.

• Conduct periodic analyses of revenue cycles and operational finances.

• Collaborate with Operations, Revenue Cycle, Accounting, and other internal teams to pinpoint operational and financial improvement opportunities.

• Support finance-related implementation efforts for new joint ventures and management services agreement partnerships.

• Prepare financial analyses and reports for the Joint Operating Committee, leadership, and partner meetings.

• Create essential reports for market leaders and address ad hoc financial and operational reporting requests.

• Enhance reporting processes, standardization, automation, and data accuracy.

• Support audits, investor relations, and other financial reporting requests.

• As a Senior Financial Analyst, independently manage complex partnership analyses, develop advanced models, present insights to leadership and hospital partners, assist operational leaders, lead implementation and process improvement workstreams, and mentor Financial Analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.

• Financial Analyst: 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance, financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.

• Senior Financial Analyst: 4-6 years of progressive experience in finance, financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.

• Experience in healthcare finance is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, operational analytics, and financial modeling.

• Excellent analytical skills with the capability to identify trends, clarify financial performance, and translate data into actionable business insights.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

• Experience with FP&A and financial reporting systems that include multidimensionality and relational databases is strongly preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals across multiple functional levels.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.

• Experience supporting joint ventures, healthcare partnerships, or management services organizations is preferred.
