Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support for financial reporting, modeling, monthly and quarterly close cycles, forecasting, annual planning, and various ad-hoc financial projects and analyses.

• Assist in the preparation of corporate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasts, along with the annual plan.

• Collaborate with business leaders, accounting, and sales operations to enhance monthly processes.

• Aid in executing month-end close alongside the accounting team.

• Summarize variances in forecasts and effectively communicate these to executive members.

• Monitor business performance and KPI trends in relation to operating plans.

• Create budget-to-actual reports for management, stakeholders, and board presentations.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the financial planning tool, validate data, and sustain forecast models.

• Enhance financial processes and identify system improvements that support company growth.

• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analyses aimed at process improvement and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic planning, P&L management, or a related domain, particularly in software and technology.

• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Comfortable utilizing various modeling techniques and shortcuts.

• Capable of developing analyses and models that drive decision-making.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with ERP and financial planning systems.

• Skilled at navigating ambiguous environments while producing results, solving complex problems, and exercising judgment based on diverse information sources.

• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze problems and establish data relationships.

• Extensive knowledge of SaaS and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.

• Familiarity with Pigment, BI tools, and SQL is desirable.
