Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Prepare and evaluate monthly budget variances, forecasts, and KPI reports, pinpointing essential trends and business drivers.

• Create financial and business models to assist in decision-making processes.

• Facilitate the annual strategic and financial planning, which includes consolidation and analysis.

• Review expenses, vendors, and capital proposals, offering financial insights and recommendations.

• Conduct finance operations such as accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, banking transactions, and financial controls.

• Aid in internal and external audits by supplying accurate financial data and documentation.

• Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders on special projects, ad hoc analyses, and initiatives.

• Lead or participate in process improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and minimizing operational risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, ideally encompassing financial analysis and finance operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in English.

• Extensive experience in financial analysis, reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable, banking operations, and financial controls.

• Advanced skills in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with both business and Finance stakeholders.

• Experience in identifying and executing process improvements.

• Valid local legal authorization to work in Mexico at the time of hiring.

• Preference for CPA or CMA exam progress, MBA/Master’s coursework, or Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
