Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Provide support for financial analytics and act as a business partner to operational leadership.

• Work alongside leaders on budgeting, forecasting, business initiatives, and continuous performance management.

• Convey complex financial subjects and offer education and training to business operators.

• Design and oversee the budget process, including volumes, revenue, staffing, and expenses.

• Evaluate monthly target-versus-actual variances and suggest plans for improvement.

• Propose monthly expense accruals.

• Share financial trends that support forecasting, budgeting, and monthly variance analysis.

• Utilize analytical tools to pinpoint improvement opportunities and share recommendations.

• Comprehend revenue cycle trends and changes, collaborating with internal subject matter experts.

• Assist in complex ad hoc analysis involving staffing changes, new services or technology, new providers, and management of drug and supply expenses.

• Act as the financial liaison for JV and PSA arrangements, including budgeting, monthly financial analytics, and ad hoc analysis.

• Collaborate with leadership on business plans for capital and program expansion.

• Engage with vendors and business partners to create technology applications for forecasting, cost accounting, and productivity.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.

• 5 to 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a finance-related field, specifically in a healthcare setting.

• Sedentary physical demands: occasionally lifting weights up to 10 lbs, with negligible weight frequently.
