Senior Financial Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Managing and overseeing daily financial accounting tasks, including payment processing.

• Creating and generating monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with German GAAP (HGB).

• Preparing VAT returns accurately.

• Submitting required statistical reports.

• Assisting with ongoing bookkeeping and financial statement preparation for European entities.

• Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts, in addition to intercompany (IC) accounts.

• Aiding in audits performed by external auditing firms.

• Compiling analyses and reports for management review.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as an Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter).

• Significant professional experience in a Senior Accountant role.

• Familiarity with SAP Cloud ERP/SAP S/4HANA is preferred.

• Strong practical experience with SAP Business ByDesign is advantageous.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.

• Competent English language skills, essential for collaboration within an international team.
