Regional Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Ensure that financial activities throughout the region adhere to corporate policies, accounting standards, statutory requirements, and local regulations.

• Supervise regional financial operations and facilitate accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

• Evaluate financial reporting outcomes, address accounting issues, and maintain consistency between local statutory and corporate reporting obligations.

• Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, and service providers to fulfill statutory reporting and tax compliance requirements.

• Work alongside regional management teams to provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations that aid in business decision-making.

• Partner with Legal, Tax, Treasury, HR, and Operations on matters influencing financial performance and compliance.

• Identify areas for enhancing finance processes through standardization, automation, improved controls, and operational efficiencies.

• Assist finance transformation initiatives, system upgrades, and the adoption of best practices across the region.

• Oversee and manage outsourced finance, accounting, tax, audit, and advisory service providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• 5-8 years of experience in Finance or Accounting positions, encompassing statutory accounting and financial reporting duties.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.

• Experience in interpreting and applying regulatory, tax, and statutory accounting mandates across various jurisdictions.

• Experience in regional, international, or multinational settings.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and achieve results across different countries or business units.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in English, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, and financial systems or accounting software.
