Senior Financial Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Maintain and update ongoing financial accounting records, including processing payment transactions.

• Generate and present monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with German GAAP (HGB).

• Prepare VAT returns efficiently.

• Submit statistical reports as required.

• Assist with ongoing bookkeeping and the preparation of financial statements for European entities.

• Reconcile balance sheet and profit-and-loss accounts, along with intercompany accounts.

• Provide support during audits conducted by external auditing firms.

• Create analyses and reports for management review.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as a qualified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) is required.

• Significant professional experience in Finance & Controlling is essential.

• Familiarity with SAP Cloud ERP/SAP S/4HANA is considered a plus.

• Strong knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Must possess an independent and organized working style.

• Proficiency in English is necessary for collaboration within an international team.
