Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate projects from inception to completion, encompassing objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, timelines, success criteria, implementation, and handover.

• Engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders across global teams.

• Propel finance transformation initiatives that involve processes, operating models, reporting, controls, automation, ERP systems, and finance technology.

• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining RAID logs and mitigation plans.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, oversee change control, and ensure compliance with governance standards.

• Create executive project status reports, dashboards, steering committee materials, decision papers, and recommendations.

• Lead organizational change efforts, including impact assessments, communications, training, adoption, readiness, and transition to regular operations.

• Ensure project delivery adheres to internal controls, audit requirements, accounting standards, and regulatory obligations.

• Spearhead change management, communication, and training related to projects.

• Evaluate and implement AI, machine learning, and generative AI opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency, anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and insight generation.

• Assist with ad-hoc internal, group, and corporate requests.

• Report directly to the Director of Finance Projects.

• Lead the Cost Accounting and Operations Finance workstream for the Microbiology Division divestiture, with a focus on S/4HANA ERP transformation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Finance, IT, Operations, and Product Data Management.

• Uphold global governance, standard costing, data governance, and accurate OCOGS reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field.

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance.

• Proven project management experience.

• Experience in a global, matrixed environment is preferred.

• Strong team-building skills and the ability to work with a diverse clientele in a global matrixed setting.

• Self-driven with a strong bias for action.

• Travel requirements are less than 25% for domestic/international purposes.
