Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Supervise the preparation of precise financial statements in alignment with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

• Generate monthly financial outcomes, variance analyses, KPI reports, and executive dashboards that emphasize key trends and drivers.

• Oversee the finance and accounting team, assign tasks, and guarantee an efficient workflow.

• Create annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year financial models to foster growth, profitability, and strategic initiatives.

• Offer insights and analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

• Ensure the timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes, audits, and tax submissions.

• Develop and refine FP&A models, reporting tools, policies, and processes that boost the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of financial operations.

• Support reporting and compliance with CMS, DHCS, DMHC, and other regulatory standards.

• Prioritize tasks, provide assistance, schedule work, and directly supervise team members.

• Actively contribute to the realization of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

• 5 years of relevant experience.

• 3-4 years of leadership experience.

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, reconciliations, and financial systems (e.g., Quickbooks, NetSuite).

• Capability to analyze complex financial data, identify inconsistencies, and suggest improvements.

• Strong interpersonal skills for team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and clear presentation of financial insights.

• Leadership - Proficient in developing others.

• Problem Solving - Able to make critical decisions, often involving high-level risk assessment, and adapt to changing situations.

• Strategic Mindset - Capable of formulating strategy and outlining steps to achieve strategic objectives.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Teams) and Visio is essential.

• A background check is mandatory.
