This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee financial control functions for a Global Occupier Account within real estate services and facilities management.
• Act as the finance lead and business advisor to the Account Director.
• Uphold high standards of financial control while implementing, reviewing, and validating systems and internal controls.
• Manage the finance operations and supervise the finance team.
• Anticipate client requirements and deliver substantial value through financial management.
• Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of expenses along with business tax implications.
• Prepare comprehensive global budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
• Conduct forecasting, financial modeling, and expense evaluations.
• Oversee cash management and expense disbursements.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities related to budgets or forecasts.
• Maintain financial ledgers, accounting processes, and controls.
• Generate timely internal financial reports.
• Prepare monthly funding and financial reports for the client, including currency translation and global reporting.
• Compile monthly consolidated P&L statements and balance sheets.
• Collaborate with the Regional Client Accounting Lead to ensure financial management aligns with Global Occupier Services standards.
• Engage in training programs for financial staff and participating clients.
• Lead staff meetings and conference calls with Group Client Accounting Managers.
• Identify best practices, enhance efficiencies, and improve service quality.
• Provide guidance and communication to the Global Finance organization.
• Meet weekly with regional finance leads to ensure clear and consistent communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Graduate studies or CPA certification are preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the real estate industry, with at least 5 years in commercial property management.
• 5 years of supervisory or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of SOC1 Compliance.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Experience with real estate accounting systems, preferably Yardi.
• Familiarity with internal and external audit processes.
• Experience as a department head, including business planning, budgeting, personnel management, and staff modeling.
• Ability to manage, mentor, and support a team of financial professionals.
• Skill in building effective working relationships with individuals and client representatives.
• Strong team player.
