Senior Finance Business Analyst, Workday

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the Workday Senior Finance Business Analyst within the Finance/Procurement Workday Support Services team

• Report directly to the Finance/Procurement Lead

• Provide support across various aspects of Workday Finance according to project requirements and priorities

• Engage in hands-on functional and technical project tasks

• Offer guidance to campus resources for designated areas

• Showcase and clarify key product features

• Document requirements and design specifications

• Facilitate knowledge transfer to campuses and colleagues

• Configure relevant functionalities

• Assist in testing and support the implementation

• Suggest solutions to meet system requirements

• Oversee the design of cross-application solutions

• Identify and escalate issues and risks

⛳️ Requirements

• The educational equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution

• A minimum of three years of experience in the finance sector

• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and complex initiatives

• Ability to collaborate effectively and travel to campuses as necessary

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred

• Proficiency in various financial domains such as procurement, budgeting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

• Extensive experience in assessing, revising, implementing, and supporting finance-related business processes

• Familiarity with change management for large-scale enterprise system implementations

• Strong technical aptitude

• Understanding of the processes being transformed and their integration with other processes and initiatives

• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and task management abilities

• Solid analytical capabilities

• Effective management and teamwork skills

• Ability to make decisions at the project team level and appropriately escalate unresolved issues

• Capability to structure work efficiently

• Proficient in providing direction and utilizing interpersonal influence to achieve goal alignment

• Candidates must have proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States on their first day of employment

• Completion of a Criminal Background Check, Motor Vehicle Reports Check, and Sex Offender Registry review
