This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serve as the main financial partner for Front Office/Demand Operations and leadership within the Property Management Business Unit.
• Convert business and private equity value-creation strategies into practical financial plans and performance objectives.
• Conduct forward-looking “what-if” analyses to assess strategic options, risks, and growth prospects.
• Create adaptable financial and operational models based on varying market conditions, pricing strategies, investment, and cost assumptions.
• Assist leaders in clarifying priorities, establishing success metrics, and aligning strategic goals.
• Oversee the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasts for designated business units.
• Take ownership of and refine SaaS financial models that encompass ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, gross margin, and unit economics.
• Examine performance drivers, variances, and trends with a focus on EBITDA, cash flow, and scalability.
• Generate dashboards and reports for financial and operational KPIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Revenue Operations on pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies.
• Assess customer segmentation, retention rates, and lifetime value across multi-family housing portfolios.
• Aid in deal structuring, contract analysis, and considerations for revenue recognition.
• Factor in unit-based pricing, property counts, seasonality, and regulatory elements.
• Promote financial discipline, accountability, and scalable processes.
• Partner with Accounting on closing processes, accruals, and ensuring financial accuracy.
• Identify and implement opportunities for margin expansion, cost efficiency, and operational leverage.
• Work alongside Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Implementation, Operations, and Accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of progressive finance experience, including roles in strategic FP&A and business partnership.
• More than 2 years of experience in SaaS or recurring-revenue business models.
• Demonstrated ability to support senior executives and influence business strategies.
• Profound understanding of SaaS metrics and unit economics.
• High-level skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills suitable for executive audiences.
• Experience in PropTech, real estate technology, or the multi-family housing sector is preferred.
• Previous involvement in value-creation initiatives is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Oracle EPM planning software, Salesforce, and Claude AI is advantageous.
• Strategic thinker with a robust systems and scenario-planning approach.
• Ability to function effectively in ambiguous and unstructured environments.
• Proficient in hypothesis-driven problem-solving and structured thinking.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Comfortable making decisions and recommendations based on incomplete data.
