Senior FileMaker/Claris Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Guide, mentor, and lead a team of software engineers.

• Establish standards for code quality, architectural design, agile timelines, and production rollouts.

• Design, optimize, and maintain complex, multi-tenant FileMaker applications.

• Ensure application performance and maintain data integrity.

• Create and implement integrations between FileMaker and contemporary cloud infrastructures.

• Leverage AWS serverless architectures such as Lambda, AppSync, and DynamoDB.

• Collaborate on JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.

• Develop robust user interfaces and detach legacy dependencies.

• Lead advanced database design and data modeling efforts.

• Connect FileMaker with PostgreSQL utilizing tools like Hasura.

• Identify and adopt AI tools and automated workflows.

• Streamline development processes and expedite data migration testing.

• Enhance product functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of the FileMaker platform, including complex scripting, advanced relational design, server management, and Data API usage.

• Proven experience in designing and deploying serverless applications on AWS.

• In-depth understanding of multi-tenant SaaS frameworks.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+).

• Practical experience with Node.js.

• Experience collaborating with full-stack engineering teams.

• Extensive experience in building, consuming, and securing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• A strong track record as a technical lead.

• Experience managing tight software development timelines.

• Proven ability to drive complex integrations across various systems.

• Hands-on approach to exploring new technologies, including AI integration.
