Senior FileMaker/Claris Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of software engineers.

• Establish standards for code quality, architectural design, agile timelines, and production releases.

• Design, optimize, and maintain intricate, multi-tenant FileMaker applications.

• Ensure optimal performance and data integrity.

• Create and implement integrations between FileMaker and contemporary cloud infrastructures.

• Leverage AWS serverless architectures, including Lambda, AppSync, and DynamoDB.

• Collaborate on JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular and React micro-frontends.

• Develop robust user interfaces and decouple legacy dependencies.

• Drive sophisticated database design and data modeling.

• Connect FileMaker with enterprise relational databases like PostgreSQL using tools such as Hasura.

• Identify and implement AI tools and automated workflows.

• Enhance development processes, accelerate data migration testing, and improve product features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive mastery of the FileMaker platform, including complex scripting, advanced relational design, server management, and Data API usage.

• Proven experience in designing and deploying serverless applications on AWS.

• Profound knowledge of multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+).

• Familiarity with Node.js and full-stack engineering teams.

• Significant experience in building, consuming, and securing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Established history of serving as a technical lead.

• Experience managing demanding software development schedules.

• Proven track record of driving complex integrations across various systems.

• Hands-on experience with exploring new technologies, including AI integration.

• Capability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours daily.

• Ability to move freely for up to 8 hours daily.
