Senior Field Applications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Validate new installations of Chemistry and Immunoassay instruments to ensure they meet the requirements of both Beckman Coulter and customers.

• Prepare customers for and execute validation studies, which include instrument setup, calibration, precision testing, and method comparisons.

• Collaborate with Key Operators at customer sites during validation processes to enhance training and confirm operational readiness.

• Respond to operational and performance inquiries in accordance with specifications and regulatory standards.

• Offer both onsite and remote phone support for questions related to assays and quality control.

• Deliver onsite training to ensure proper operation of instrumentation.

• Work in partnership with Technical Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams.

• Serve the Mid-Atlantic region as part of the Field Applications Team within the North America Service Organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree accompanied by a minimum of 3+ years of combined experience in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or a related field.

• Strong understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare industry, particularly emphasizing the regulatory landscape of laboratories.

• Willingness to travel up to 90% by air and/or vehicle, including overnight stays.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Experience in medical technology, with a preference for familiarity with Beckman analyzers.

• Knowledge of standard laboratory practices, including quality control measures, record-keeping, and regulatory requirements such as CAP, CLIA, and COLA.
