This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of close protection operations for assigned principals during their daily activities, travel, and special events.
• Maintain continuous situational awareness while proactively addressing potential threats in real time.
• Lead advance preparations, which include on-site evaluations, venue assessments, route planning, contingency strategies, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS).
• Collaborate with Protective Intelligence to incorporate threat evaluations, individuals of interest, and geopolitical changes into security strategies.
• Oversee security planning and on-the-ground execution for executive retreats, media events, public engagements, and internal gatherings.
• Work in conjunction with event security, physical security teams, and external service providers.
• Foster trusted relationships with principals, executive partners, and family office personnel.
• Uphold professionalism, maintain discretion, and establish clear professional boundaries.
• A minimum of 5 years in executive protection, dignitary protection, or high-threat security roles.
• Proven track record in conducting protective advances, secure transportation, and close protection in complex or high-profile settings.
• Background in military or law enforcement.
• Successful completion of an accredited executive protection training program.
• Current medical certifications such as CPR/AED, TECC, or equivalent.
• Capability to operate with discretion and poise while engaging with senior executives.
• Ability to handle irregular schedules and adapt to rapid operational changes.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% domestically and internationally.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Expertise in defensive/security-oriented driving techniques.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a California Guard Card and Exposed Firearms Permit (BSIS).
• Familiarity with protective intelligence processes, threat assessment techniques, and post-event after-action review protocols.
• Responsible utilization of generative AI with appropriate human oversight.
• Limit of 3 applications within a 6-month period.
• Remote-first work environment.
• Quarterly in-person working sessions known as “surges.”
• Travel involved is approximately 50% domestic and international.
