Senior Estimator – Life Science, Pharmaceutical Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Generate precise and comprehensive construction cost and project cost estimates from the conceptual design phase to the completion of construction documentation.

• Investigate material and labor costs through published resources, local circumstances, market analysis, and additional references.

• Collaborate with the management team to attract new clients and enhance the existing client portfolio.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

• Offer value engineering services.

• Establish work breakdown structures and prepare task orders.

• Review, estimate, and reconcile change orders, frequently coordinating with contractors or conducting peer reviews.

• Create detailed bid analyses and evaluations.

• Manage a designated group of clients based on requirements and capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in estimating and cost management.

• Significant experience in pharmaceutical and life science construction projects.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse client types.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Intermediate understanding of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff and/or Success Estimating Software is advantageous.

• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture is highly desirable.

• A combination of education and relevant work experience may also be considered in place of a degree.
