Senior Epic Cogito Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct all facets of the Epic Cogito Modernization initiative, which includes the transition of the Clarity database from Oracle to Azure.

• Lead project planning, scheduling, tracking of milestones, risk management, resolution of issues, and overall project accountability.

• Manage relationships with vendors, coordinating efforts with Nordic and other project collaborators.

• Facilitate and conduct project meetings with senior leadership and executive sponsors.

• Engage with hospital leadership while ensuring that technical teams remain aligned and accountable.

• Create and sustain status reports, risk assessments, decision logs, and tracking spreadsheets.

• Coordinate onboarding processes and security requirements with internal stakeholders.

• Identify and proactively address risks, dependencies, and resource limitations.

• Take ownership of project scope, timelines, and delivery results.

• Conduct daily project management tasks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive technical project management experience, particularly in complex healthcare IT or EHR migrations.

• Required hands-on experience in leading a Cogito or Clarity migration to Azure.

• Experience in managing vendor relationships within a multi-partner project setting.

• Demonstrated capability to manage sponsors, internal teams, vendors, risks, timelines, and overall project accountability.

• Strong executive presence and confidence to engage with senior and C-suite stakeholders.

• Proficient in daily project management execution, including status reporting, risk tracking, documentation, and spreadsheet management.

• Ability to work East Coast hours, regardless of physical location.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• Epic Cogito or Clarity certification is a plus.

• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with Nordic or similar Epic consulting vendors.

• Background in supporting significant hospital or health system IT modernization efforts.

• Knowledge of Oracle-to-Azure database migration processes and cloud infrastructure concepts.
