Senior EPC Cost Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact between the project/execution cost teams and the corporate cost and finance departments.

• Convert project-controls data into corporate financial reports and vice versa.

• Reconcile commitments, accruals, actuals, and ETC/EAC forecasts with the corporate general ledger and financial statements.

• Investigate and address cost variances.

• Align project cost forecasts and cash flow with corporate budgeting, FP&A, and capital-planning cycles.

• Develop and sustain cost coding and WBS/CBS-to-chart-of-accounts mapping across execution and corporate systems.

• Aggregate multi-project cost data into portfolio-level reports.

• Assist with month-end and period-end close activities through project accruals, cost transfers, and capitalization.

• Promote governance, process enhancements, and control improvements.

• Collaborate with project controls, accounting, procurement, and treasury teams.

• Provide leadership with insights and recommendations regarding cost performance, risks, and trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

• Over 7 years of cost experience in both corporate finance and project-based execution (field) cost roles.

• Strong expertise in project cost controls, encompassing commitments, accruals, actuals, ETC/EAC, and cash flow.

• Understanding of corporate financial processes, including general ledger operations, closing, and FP&A/budgeting.

• Experience in reconciling project-controls data with corporate financial systems such as Oracle Unifier and Oracle Fusion or similar platforms.

• Proficient in advanced Excel and data analysis across extensive cost data sets.

• Exceptional communication skills to connect execution and corporate stakeholders effectively.

• Background in EPC or large capital projects within the power, oil & gas, or data center sectors.
