This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Concentrate on air permitting and reporting within California.
β’ Report directly to the principal overseeing California permitting and compliance services while collaborating with a team of ten professionals.
β’ Execute air permitting, emission inventories, GHG management, compliance management programs, compliance audits, supervision of junior staff, regulatory development, and compliance strategies, field audits, project management, and budgeting.
β’ Manage multiple projects concurrently and act as the senior technical lead.
β’ Oversee staff-level professionals and technicians.
β’ Assess staffing requirements, delegate tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure uniform adherence to firm standards.
β’ Coordinate the operations of technical staff by assigning, monitoring, and evaluating their work.
β’ Offer technical support and direct team efforts.
β’ Supervise project document deliverables, technical report writing, data analysis, and graphical presentations.
β’ Collaborate with clients to develop plans, reports, and assessments.
β’ Independently assess, select, adapt, and modify standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
β’ Manage project budgets and timelines, completing tasks within designated timeframes.
β’ Serve as the client manager, understand client requirements, and distribute tasks and proposals to the appropriate teams.
β’ Communicate any issues to leadership that may impact schedules and budgets.
β’ Maintain confidentiality.
β’ Stay updated on industry trends through training, publications, and workshops.
β’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelor of Science degree in Science or Engineering, or at least 10 years of relevant experience.
β’ Associate of Science degree in Science or Engineering, or a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
β’ Proven experience in project, client, and program management, along with air quality permitting experience in California.
β’ Certification as an Agency Permitting Professional, such as SCAQMD Certified Permitting Professional (CPP), is preferred but not mandatory.
