Senior Environment Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee playable environments from initial concept to final execution.

• Create photorealistic assets with applied textures and materials.

• Design lifelike levels and environments.

• Collaborate with the level design team and fellow artists to materialize concepts.

• Organize, estimate, and prioritize timelines for task completion while monitoring progress.

• Assist in identifying and resolving bugs, including performance and budget concerns.

• Implement and integrate feedback from the Director and Leads.

• Collaborate with the team to attain the desired quality and technical precision.

• Help establish best practices for production workflows.

• Engage in brainstorming and concept development sessions, offering innovative ideas and approaches.

⛳️ Requirements

• An outstanding portfolio showcasing the development of high-quality photorealistic environments.

• 3+ years of professional experience in game development as an Environment Artist.

• Experience in developing AAA titles for PC and/or console platforms.

• Comprehensive knowledge of game environment development processes, including sculpting, retopology, baking, UV mapping, and texturing.

• Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

• A high level of self-motivation and initiative.

• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5, Maya or Blender, ZBrush, and Adobe Substance Suite.

• Candidates must be current residents of Ontario or willing to relocate to Ontario.
