Senior Enterprise Architect – SAP Cloud Transformation, RISE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design the architecture for transformation initiatives and create sustainable target architectures.

• Convert strategic needs into technological guidelines.

• Develop business capability maps, solution architecture diagrams, and value roadmaps.

• Create end-to-end solution scenarios.

• Outline the transition from conventional on-premises environments to modern SAP cloud architectures.

• Provide guidance to clients on adopting Clean Core principles.

• Minimize technical debt.

• Design side-by-side extensions and integrations utilizing the SAP Business Technology Platform.

• Employ SAP LeanIX to streamline IT landscapes.

• Utilize SAP Signavio to link architecture with business processes.

• Lead architecture boards.

• Oversee complex customer workshops, especially during the Discover and Prepare phases of SAP Activate.

• Present solution strategies to C-level executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in the SAP domain, spanning several years.

• Preferably, experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, or Enterprise Architect in large-scale S/4HANA transformation projects.

• Familiarity with the SAP Enterprise Architecture Methodology, TOGAF, and/or the SAP Activate methodology.

• Profound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (both Public and Private Cloud).

• Understanding of the RISE with SAP portfolio.

• Knowledge of the shared responsibility model.

• Insight into modern cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

• Strong analytical skills coupled with a systems-thinking approach.

• Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities.

• Confident demeanor and robust negotiation skills at the management level.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise architecture tools, particularly SAP LeanIX.

• Comprehensive understanding of business process management and SAP Signavio.

• Preferred relevant certifications, such as SAP Certified Associate – Enterprise Architecture Consultant (SAP LeanIX), SAP Technology Consultant Professional, or similar architecture credentials.
