Senior Business Consultant – Enterprise Architecture Management, New Business Development, Team Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients on Enterprise Architecture Management.

• Perform thorough evaluations of enterprise architecture and pinpoint chances for enhancement.

• Assist in the development and execution of strategic enterprise architecture initiatives.

• Offer advice on the selection and deployment of contemporary architecture tools and technologies.

• Recognize new business prospects and potential clients.

• Create and execute strategic plans to attract new clients.

• Conduct needs assessments and design customized solution strategies.

• Lead and autonomously prepare proposals and responses to tenders (RfI, RfP).

• Manage public tenders, including procurement documentation, bidder inquiries, eligibility proof, and service specifications.

• Calculate project budgets, effort estimates, and pricing frameworks.

• Prepare and deliver presentations, pitches, and negotiations to clients.

• Oversee EAM consulting projects from inception to implementation.

• Coordinate and manage consulting teams effectively.

• Monitor project goals, budgets, and timelines, providing regular updates to senior management.

• Cultivate and maintain existing client relationships.

• Identify avenues to broaden the service offerings.

• Ensure client satisfaction and proactively address issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated consulting experience in Enterprise Architecture or related fields of corporate management and governance.

• Experience in independently drafting proposals for consulting services.

• Ideally, practical knowledge of public-sector tenders and formal procurement processes.

• Capability to convert complex technical ideas into clear, persuasive proposal documents and client presentations.

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.

• Proficient in the German language at C1 level or above (certified and fluent).

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Familiarity with EAM frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, and BIZBOK.

• Experience with EAM tools like HOPEX, LeanIX, BizzDesign, planningIT, and ServiceNow.

• Experience in process, architecture, or data modeling (BPMN, UML, ER modeling).

• Comprehensive understanding of business processes, organizational structures, and IT or enterprise architecture.

• Experience in project management and leading consulting teams.

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities, exhibiting a professional demeanor.

• Collaborative working style with the capability to motivate and lead team members.

• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, along with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and creativity.
