This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the enterprise strategy, target-state architectures, and 3–5-year modernization roadmaps spanning applications, data/analytics, integration/API, cloud/platform, and business architecture domains.

• Convert functional and business strategies into actionable operational architecture plans for ERP, CRM, PLM, MES, Contract Lifecycle Management, Customer Data Platform, and other related systems.

• Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives that align with the long-term technology direction of the enterprise.

• Establish and enforce enterprise architecture methodologies, standards, and patterns.

• Contribute to the governance of the Architecture Review Board regarding technology selection, API standards, cloud patterns, domain models, and adherence to architectural compliance.

• Design and advocate for API-first, event-driven, and cloud-native patterns.

• Define secure, scalable, and high-throughput integration frameworks.

• Assist in the development of enterprise data architecture, ontologies, semantic models, knowledge graphs, and standardized data structures.

• Mentor fellow architects and enhance the maturity of architecture practices.

• Build and oversee communities of practice.

• Advocate for product-centric and platform engineering operating models.

• Tackle complex architectural challenges across both legacy and modern ecosystems on an enterprise-wide scale.

• Assess security, performance, costs, technical debts, risks, and business outcomes.

• Provide briefings and counsel to executive leadership on architectural decisions, investment strategies, risks, standards, and transformation plans.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems and over 10 years of IT experience, including more than 7 years as a senior solution architect or enterprise architect; OR an advanced degree with over 7 years as a senior solution architect or enterprise architect.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.

• Proven experience in thought leadership within enterprise architecture.

• Track record of creating long-term enterprise architecture roadmaps and leading extensive digital transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with digital engineering concepts, including MBSE, MBD, MBDMI, model-based services, and MRO.

• Experience in implementing global architecture processes, governance, and standards.

• Profound knowledge of modern architecture frameworks, cloud-native designs, and product-aligned delivery and operating models.

• Strong background in API governance, integration design patterns, and enterprise interoperability.

• Capacity to deliver strategic technical leadership and influence the formation of long-term strategies and roadmaps in a virtual context.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven effectiveness in complex, service-intensive, and deadline-driven environments.

• Ability to foster strong relationships with key groups.

• Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation capabilities.

• Excellent formal and informal presentation skills.

• Knowledge and experience of working within Agile teams.

• Expertise in API strategy and governance, API architectural patterns, API standards, and integration frameworks.

• Self-starter with confidence, enthusiasm, and a strong customer service focus.
