Principal Enterprise Architect

📋 Description

• Define, plan, and implement the enterprise technology vision in alignment with business and IT strategy.

• Research, analyze, design, propose, and deliver effective business solutions.

• Facilitate the design and construction of solutions throughout the enterprise.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and program leaders.

• Lead the vision for Application Integration, Data, and Platform architecture.

• Engage in complex projects and contribute to the organization's strategic objectives.

• Develop strategies for transitioning to the cloud architectural vision.

• Collaborate with business leaders to offer technical guidance and influence strategic decisions.

• Evaluate industry business and technology trends.

• Provide thought leadership and recommendations on intricate strategic issues.

• Create and maintain architecture roadmaps that link business strategies to capabilities.

• Manage priorities, deliverables, and timelines effectively.

• Utilize in-house and outsourced resources to safeguard intellectual property.

• Travel as necessary for divisional, team, and other in-person meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in building scalable, multi-tier distributed cloud-native application architectures.

• Proven experience in designing APIs and integrating with external systems, including third-party solutions.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience in designing systems with messaging capabilities.

• Proficient in both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of front-end UI frameworks such as ReactJS.

• Experience in designing secure systems following cybersecurity best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• More than 15 years of systems development and business experience in designing solutions across an organization.

• At least 5 years of technical experience in a specific domain for design, development, and deployments.

• Experience in a significant business domain such as CRM, Marketing, Insurance/Claims, or Financial systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States.
