This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.
β’ Convert business requirements into technical system solutions and architectural frameworks.
β’ Ensure alignment between business vision, technology strategy, and enterprise standards.
β’ Serve as an advocate for the business within the IT domain, ensuring that technology execution aligns with business strategies.
β’ Assist in implementing Humana's Technology Strategy in accordance with the corporate vision and segment business strategies.
β’ Participate in enterprise technology modernization projects alongside application teams and both business and IT stakeholders.
β’ Mentor on pattern-based development with an emphasis on resource and cost efficiency.
β’ Promote the adoption and implementation of lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery model.
β’ Link business vision and strategy to value streams, business capabilities, and functions.
β’ Document the current architecture state, including value streams and domain capability models.
β’ Utilize portfolio rationalization to uncover innovation prospects and minimize risk, complexity, and total operational expenses.
β’ Establish and uphold technology strategies, intermediate architectures, and final architectures.
β’ Lead modernization efforts for applications, including the rearchitecting of legacy mainframe, standalone, and web-based applications.
β’ Facilitate cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS innovations in collaboration with segment and enterprise shared services teams.
β’ Maintain architecture standards and policies while documenting current trends and best practices.
β’ Develop application cost models and dashboards based on resource use and licensing expenses.
β’ Assess new technologies and platforms, and create architecture standards.
β’ Select and implement cloud services, technologies, tools, methodologies, and solutions.
β’ Mentor application teams regarding enterprise data-use standards and non-functional requirements such as logging, auditing, and end-to-end observability.
β’ Support application teams throughout enterprise governance processes and offer implementation assistance.
β’ Mentor and guide enterprise, solution, technology, and system architects.
β’ Report directly to the Director of Enterprise Architecture.
β’ Bachelor's Degree.
β’ A minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, development, and testing of software applications.
β’ Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in extensive IT projects involving multiple enterprise systems.
β’ Self-provided home internet with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed for remote or hybrid employees.
β’ A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.
β’ Preferred: Master's Degree.
