RV Technical Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide clear, empathetic, and professional support by answering incoming customer calls.

• Initiate outbound calls to customers in the queue, service facilities, and other departments.

• Effectively manage the call queue to ensure timely assistance.

• Maintain a calm and patient demeanor when dealing with frustrated customers.

• Assist customers in troubleshooting operational issues related to their RVs.

• Accurately document customer interactions and resolutions in the appropriate systems.

• Communicate program coverage details and respond to caller inquiries.

• Troubleshoot various systems including slide-outs, leveling jacks, 110V and 12V electrical systems, battery charging, power distribution, RV maintenance, touch control systems, appliances, LP gas systems, tanks, and generators.

• Address issues related to braking systems, tires, wheels, hubs, suspensions, chassis, structures, powertrains, and drivetrains.

• Stay updated on RV brands, models, configurations, and categories.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard web applications used in the industry.

• Ability to uphold a high level of confidentiality.

• Knowledge of RVs and roadside assistance protocols.

• ASE/RVTI/MFG certification or an equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

• 1–3 years of experience in a related role.

• Previous experience in the automotive or RV sectors, such as an RV repair technician, technical support agent, service advisor, parts person, or warranty administrator.

• Comprehensive understanding of RV components, systems, and construction.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of RV electrical, mechanical, plumbing, appliance, gas, chassis, structural, powertrain, and drivetrain systems.

• Expertise in various RV brands, models, configurations, and types.
