IT Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Supervise the daily functions of the IT department

• Propel practical AI integration by researching, testing, and implementing AI tools

• Assist in drafting and enforcing company-wide protocols for safe and effective AI utilization

• Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, encompassing device provisioning, policy enforcement, and software deployment

• Oversee devices across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android platforms

• Implement daily security policies

• Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance efforts, internal audits, and necessary documentation

• Manage support escalations

• Conduct onboarding and offboarding processes for team members

• Implement IT projects in alignment with the CTO’s vision

• Enhance systems and automate repetitive workflows

• Create knowledge-base articles for the remote team

• Report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT administration, senior IT support, or junior IT management

• Must be available to work full-time hours closely aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST)

• Hands-on experience with AI tools and the ability to assess new platforms

• Experience in translating AI capabilities into secure operational tasks

• Demonstrated experience administering and deploying MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or FleetDM

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English

• Capability to manage daily operations independently and effectively prioritize tasks

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPNs and firewalls

• Familiarity with enterprise cloud applications like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365

• Preferred: exposure to or basic understanding of ISO 27001 and SOC 2

• Preferred: relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, Microsoft/Jamf certifications, or AI-focused qualifications
