This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide clear, empathetic, and professional support by answering incoming customer calls.
• Conduct outbound calls to customers in the queue, service facilities, and various departments.
• Efficiently manage the call queue.
• Maintain a calm and patient attitude with customers who may be frustrated.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting operational issues with their RVs.
• Accurately document customer interactions and resolutions in the appropriate systems.
• Inform callers about program coverage and respond to their questions comprehensively.
• Keep up-to-date with different RV brands, models, and configurations.
• Clarify the distinctions between travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, toy haulers, and camper vans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard web applications within the industry.
• Ability to uphold a high level of confidentiality.
• Familiarity with RVs and roadside assistance protocols.
• ASE/RVTI/MFG certification or a similar qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• 1-3 years of experience in a comparable role.
• Previous experience in the automotive or RV industry, including roles such as RV repair technician, technical support agent, service advisor, parts person, or warranty administrator.
• Comprehensive understanding of RV components, systems, and construction methods.
• Strong knowledge of slide-out mechanisms and leveling jacks.
• Proficient knowledge of 110V and 12V electrical systems, battery charging, and power distribution.
• Understanding of RV maintenance, winterization, and de-winterization processes.
• Familiarity with touch control systems and electronic components.
• Knowledge of appliances such as refrigerators, air conditioners, stoves, furnaces, water heaters, LP gas systems, and tanks (fresh, grey, black) as well as generators.
• Solid understanding of braking systems, tires, wheels, hubs, and suspensions.
• In-depth knowledge and comprehension of RV chassis and structural types.
• Knowledge of gas, diesel, and electric powertrains, including chassis and drivetrains.
• Awareness of various RV brands, models, and configurations.
• Understanding of different types of RVs, including travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes (Class A, B, C), toy haulers, and camper vans.
