Senior Enterprise Applications Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage, configure, enhance, and provide support for the enterprise application portfolio, with a primary focus on the NetSuite ERP platform.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect, analyze, document requirements, and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

• Set up and maintain NetSuite workflows, customizations, forms, saved searches, dashboards, roles, and platform functionalities.

• Design, execute, and support secure and dependable integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise systems.

• Ensure applications adhere to security protocols, regulatory obligations, audit controls, and Segregation of Duties policies.

• Advance enterprise application architecture through standardization, modernization, reduction of technical debt, and development of scalable solutions.

• Work in conjunction with Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, IT, Finance, Operations, and business departments.

• Diagnose complex technical issues and enhance the enterprise application ecosystem.

• Keep system documentation, configuration standards, support procedures, and knowledge articles up to date.

• Offer guidance and training to business users and support teams.

• Propel continuous improvement and enhance enterprise processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in administering, configuring, and supporting enterprise applications, with extensive hands-on experience in NetSuite ERP.

• Proven experience in gathering business requirements and converting them into scalable technical solutions and application improvements.

• In-depth understanding of NetSuite configuration, workflows, roles, permissions, saved searches, dashboards, SuiteFlow, and overall platform administration.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles, application lifecycle management, and best practices in software development/change management.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining data governance standards, master data management practices, and ensuring data quality across integrated systems.

• Knowledge of security best practices, RBAC, Segregation of Duties (SoD), audit controls, and regulatory compliance such as SOX.

• Capability to manage multiple initiatives while balancing operational support, enhancements, and strategic projects.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex application challenges.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across IT, Finance, Operations, Security, and other business functions.

• Experience in documenting business processes, solution designs, technical configurations, and support procedures.

• Self-driven with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.

• SuiteScript experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteQL, SuiteCloud Development Framework, Agile/Scrum, iPaaS platforms, and NetSuite certifications are considered bonus or preferred qualifications.
